Ms. Elizabeth Lozano, M.A., MFT Intern

Ms. Elizabeth Lozano, M.A. is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University Long Beach. Then she went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Ms. Lozano has had extensive experience working with children, families and adults. Ms. Lozano has a certificate in Art for Creativity & Healing from Chapman University and has helped many individuals express their feelings of anger and sadness through art.

Like Dr. Puff, Ms. Lozano takes a holistic approach to therapy encompassing thoughts, emotions, physical health, nutrition, and interpersonal relationships. Ms. Lozano offers a safe environment for clients to explore their deep feelings of fear, anger and sadness and teaches them how to express these emotions without hurting themselves or others. Ms. Lozano utilizes the Anger Work techniques written, described, and used by Dr. Puff.

Ms. Elizabeth Lozano, M.A., MFT Intern and I have had a professional relationship for many years. I have watched Ms. Lozano go through her training to become a therapist and I am very excited that she has come to work along side me. I have great confidence in her both as an individual and as a Clinician. In working with Ms. Lozano you can be confident in knowing that you are receiving high quality care.

• Monday from 11:00am to 7:30pm
• Friday from 11:00am to 7:30pm
• Saturday from noon to 3:00pm
• Sunday from noon to 3:00pm
